WHAT IS Pikseli?
Pikseli is the Nordics’ first chain of virtual reality parks. Pikseli offers once-in-a-lifetime virtual reality experiences that break the rules of our physical world.
WHAT IS VIRTUAL REALITY?
Virtual reality takes movies and video games to the next level by letting you be part of the action. Virtual reality simulates the sights, sounds and feel of virtual worlds, which makes the experience very convincing.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPERIENCE IN VIRTUAL REALITY?
Virtual reality lets you experience things that would not be possible in real life. Pikseli has a large and versatile library of games, short films and natural documentary experiences that each offer something unique.
PRACTICALITIES
How expensive is Pikseli? Is the price calculated by gaming space or by head count?
Game time costs 22€/30 minutes or 42€/60 minutes. Prices are calculated by gaming space regardless of how many people will be using them.
How many people can fit in one gaming space?
One gaming space can accommodate one person at a time. A gaming space comes equipped with one set of goggles and controllers.
However, a gaming space can be booked for up to three people, taking turns with the equipment.
Do I need to pick which game I want to play beforehand?
You can browse and hop between games and experiences during your slot. All of our gaming spaces come equipped with the same library of experiences, so there is no need to switch spaces at any time.
Do I always need to book in advance, or can I just pop in?
You can always pop in to see if we have free gaming spaces. If you’re aiming for a certain time slot, we recommend booking in advance.
For large groups of more than 6 people, we always recommend booking in advance.
How early should I get there before my booking starts?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your designated slot.
Can I throw a birthday party/corporate event/bachelor party/other event at Pikseli?
Absolutely! You can find information about different kinds of events on our website, but we recommend getting in touch with your closest Pikseli directly.
Can I wear eyeglasses with virtual reality goggles?
Most kinds of glasses can fit under goggles. If you’re unsure, pop in before your booking and ask for staff assistance.
We recommend trying virtual reality without glasses! Due to the proximity of the screen to the eye, many people manage just fine without glasses.
HOW DO YOU TAKE CARE OF EQUIPMENT HYGIENE?
We clean and disinfect our VR goggles and controllers after every customer.
Do you sell season passes?
Yes. Our parks sell a five-session stamp card that is cheaper than individual visits and makes for the perfect gift for a virtual reality buff. Ask our staff for more information!
EXPERIENCES AT PIKSELI
Does Pikseli have an age limit? Do you follow age restrictions for games?
We do not recommend bringing children under 7 years old. We strictly adhere to age restrictions and hide restricted games from younger players.
Do you have multiplayer games?
Of course! Virtual reality is at its best when experienced together with a friend.
To play our multiplayer games, you will need at least two gaming spaces, because each space only comes with one set of equipments.
What are virtual escape rooms?
Virtual escape rooms are like regular escape room puzzles, but in virtual reality. You are not actually put in a locked room, but rather a simulated one.
Virtual escape rooms do not always adhere to the laws of physics. Come and see for yourself!
